Melissa Gorga Reveals Her "Biggest Pushback" When Filming: "It's Hard with Producers"
The RHONJ cast member also explains what causes her to get an "attitude" when filming the series while chatting with one of the show's producers.
Since joining The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Melissa Gorga has given fans a glimpse of her married life with her husband Joe Gorga, their journey as parents, and her strained relationship with her sister-in-law Teresa Giudice.
Now in her 12th season as a Housewife, Melissa is getting candid about her time on the show, as she details some of the “pushbacks” she experiences when the cameras are rolling. The Envy boutique owner revealed as much during a conversation with RHONJ Co-Executive Producer, Serife, when they sat down with BravoTV.com exclusively to discuss their time working on the series.

In the clip above, Melissa asks Serife if she’d ever given her an “attitude“ while filming before. Immediately, Serife explains how Melissa likes to “push back” on production for better lighting and camera angles to get the best shot of herself.
As for Melissa’s response to the critique? She agrees with Serife, saying, “I feel like that’s my biggest pushback. A lot of the times, they’ll turn off lights, and I’m like, no I like this chandelier, I really want it on…”
Melissa later clarifies that while production may not always compromise, she’s “always comfortable to be honest” whenever Serife is around. Let her explain, above.

Continuing in their chat, Melissa also shares how Serife is “good with keeping the peace,” especially when the RHONJ cast gets together because they bombard production with awkward questions.
“I feel like it’s hard with producers because we’re all like, well, who’s your favorite? Like why do you like her? Why were you over there?” Melissa tells Serife. To hear how the RHONJ producer responds, check out the video above.
