Josh Altman Shares the Sweet Inspiration for His Son’s Name
There's a lot of meaning behind Ace David Altman, the name of the Million Dollar Listing agent's second child.
Josh Altman and Heather Bilyeu Altman welcomed their adorable son Ace David Altman to the world on July 16, but it's only now that we are learning the incredibly special meaning behind his name.
"My son Ace David Altman," the Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles power agent wrote on Instagram. "Named after his great grandfather David Altman who came over to America from Russia when he was told to hold onto his sisters hand and not look back on the boat. Without a penny to his name, he got his first job pushing a push cart in NYC before saving enough money to move on and sell shoes. He worked his way to the top of every job he ever had. He eventually became very successful as a hard money lender. He was a genius. He was self made and worked for everything he had. That’s how Altmans do it. And so will Ace."
Heather recently revealed the range of emotions that came along with having Ace, their second child, and asked fellow moms for advice on how they handle having two young kids (daughter Alexis is 2 years old.)
"I want to have more time with just me and Lexi but I’m so excited to meet my baby boy. I’m so excited for Lexi to become a big sister but I’m so scared that she’s going to feel unloved by me when she has to share mommy. It’s been a bit of an emotional rollercoaster with extreme mom guilt (already) on how to give full love and attention to both my babies making them feel special and like they are #1. How do all you mommies do it with more than 1 baby? What do you suggest?" she wrote.
