Quad Webb Explains Why Her Nephew Mason Is Living with Her
The Married to Medicine cast member opened up about raising the son of her late brother, Quentin, and “new additions” to her life.
Quad Webb is opening up about some major changes in her life. The Married to Medicine cast member shared the latest details on her current living situation during the Season 9 premiere, which included a look at her new digs and an update on her loved ones.
“I have a number of new additions to my life. My mom is now here full time, as well as [my nephew] Mason, so I had to upgrade from the bulls--t ass apartment,” Quad explained in an interview during the July 10 episode, adding that she had moved into a six-bedroom, nine-bathroom home. Quad went on to share more about Mason, who first appeared on the show in Season 4 when he was just a 1-year-old baby, and lovingly referred to herself as a “maunty” (that’s “auntie” and “mom” combined) to her adorable 6-year-old nephew. “I’ve always been like a maunty for him,” she said in the Season 9 premiere.
Quad, who previously vowed to always be there for her nephew, also opened up about her younger brother, Quentin, who passed away in 2020.
“My brother, which is Mason’s father, died at the tender age of 34 from complications of the heart. He was just like my little baby,” she shared, later adding, “It gets tough sometimes.”
Quad has made sure to share several sweet moments of her nephew on Instagram over the past year, writing in the caption of one of her adorable posts of Mason, “This is what the JOY of living life looks like, seize the moment.”
