Marlo Hampton’s Thoughts on Having a Child with Scotley Innis
As the above clip shows, the topic of kids arose after Shereé Whitfield was reflecting on her recent dinner with fellow The Real Housewives of Atlanta OGs Kim Zolciak-Biermann, Lisa Wu, and DeShawn Snow, which took place on Season 15 Episode 9. “I don’t remember all the conversations, but some of the stuff I do remember is Lisa Wu saying she wanted to have another baby,” Shereé tells Marlo and Sanya Richards-Ross. “I was like, ‘What?!’”
Sanya then points out that “people are having kids older,” which prompts Marlo to chime in. Referencing the man she started dating on RHOA Season 15, Scotley Innis, she says, “That’s even funny with me, too, thinking about kids, ’cause I’m like, if Scotley and I do get serious, he has what, one, two, three kids already. And I’m like, ‘Oh Lord.’”
Shereé asks if Marlo would actually want to welcome a child, to which she responds, “I don’t know. That’s what I wanna know, ’cause I’m like what if I do want to have one? It just depends on his income [and] if he’s a great father.”
Sanya and Shereé joke that Marlo listed her requirements in “the wrong order,” but she argues that “you need to have money for kids.”
“First of all, we’re gonna need a big car,” she adds. “We’re gonna take vacations!”
Marlo Hampton’s Wishes for Motherhood
Shereé returns the conversation to the question at hand by asking if Marlo would really consider having kids. Her response? “I will. Definitely if my financials are great and I have a great guy, I would.”
More specifically, “I would love to either adopt or just see if I could do in vitro, ’cause I know right now I can’t do natural,” Marlo continues. “I would need a little help… But regardless, I would love a little girl. Can’t you just see a little Marlo?”
“She’d be a little Barbie doll — a Chanel Barbie doll,” Sanya says, to which Marlo replies, “I would love that.”
