Marlo Hampton Shared a Throwback RHOA Moment to Joke About Life in Virtual Learning
The Real Housewives of Atlanta friend is keeping a sense of humor during the pandemic.
As the proud aunt and guardian of her two nephews, Michael and William, Marlo Hampton has now also taken on the role of teacher during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. With virtual learning in place, The Real Housewives of Atlanta friend is in her feelings — and using a Season 10 RHOA reunion moment to sum it all up.
The moment is when she declared, "I need a drink." She further joked, "Cross out 'work' [and] put 'VIRTUAL LEARNING'‼️ Parents/Teachers, How y’all holding up? Thank God it’s Friday."
All kidding aside, Marlo definitely loves offering a hand to raise her nephews and teaching them important lessons, even including them in a PSA to support Black Lives Matter and highlight racial and social injustice.
Earlier this summer, she spoke about recruiting her nephews for the PSA and her life as their aunt.
"Becoming a full-time parent to two young black boys has given me a new outlook on life. I realize now more than ever that I need to use my voice to take action against the repeated acts of racism and violence on African American men and women. Black lives matter and it is my duty to work to improve human rights so that my boys and our children can live in a better world," Marlo said in a statement to The Daily Dish. “It was important for me to reach out and involve my sisters at Bravo, we text and DM about gossip and fashion all the time, but this was about unifying our voices for a cause that is bigger than us!”
When Marlo and her nephews aren't busy doing remote learning and using their voices to create change in the world, they are out spending some quality time together and celebrating "black boy joy."
