Jax Taylor Has a Special Message for Son Cruz on His First Day of School (PHOTOS)
The Valley's Jax Taylor shared a series of photos of Cruz's big day on Instagram.
Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright's son, Cruz Michael Cauchi, is growing up before our very eyes, and he just went off for his first day of school for the 2024-2025 academic year.
The Valley cast member shared sweet snapshots and a video of his son's first day on his Instagram Stories on September 5.
Cruz wore a white T-shirt with a beach print, ripped jean shorts, and sneakers for his first day.
In the video he posted, Jax asked Cruz if he's feeling prepared for the big day.
"First day of school, bud," Jax said as Cruz fueled up with a before-school snack. "Are you ready? Are you ready for school?"
Cruz didn't answer his dad, but his smile indicated that he was ready to take on the day.
Later on, Jax shared that one of the parents at Cruz's school brought in a special first day treat. "One of the moms at Cruz's school makes these absolutely delicious brownies that you all must try," Jax wrote alongside a photo of a box of brownies, before tagging the dessert company's Instagram handle. "They were gone in minutes."
In addition to his Stories, Jax shared a post on his main Instagram feed. In the caption, he wished all returning students (and their parents!) a safe year.
"I hope all the kids and parents have a safe and happy school year!" he captioned the post.
Cruz's first day of school, however, is just his latest milestone this year.
Back in June, Brittany celebrated Cruz's last day of preschool. She posted several photos of Cruz from his final day, and it was clear that she was in her feelings about her son getting older. She wrote, "Can't handle it" in the caption of her Instagram Story post.
"Last day of ladybugs preschool," she shared in another snap. "Time flies."
How Jax Taylor is bonding with son Cruz
In addition to sending Cruz off to school, Jax also got in some father-son time at the park with the three-year-old.
Cruz changed into a light brown shirt and shorts set to play on the playground with the Vanderpump Rules alum.
"Park days..." the Jax's Studio City partner captioned one of the shots, which highlighted Cruz smiling from ear to ear at the top of a slide.
