Melissa Gorga's Sons Head to High School and Mark a Major First Together: "Can't Believe" (PICS)
It's back-to-school season for the RHONJ family and Melissa Gorga can't hide her feelings about Joey Jr. and Gino's big year.
Melissa Gorga is trying to wrap her head around back-to-school season this year. Why? Well, because it marks a major first for her two sons, Gina and Joey Jr., and she's very much in her feelings all about it. She took to Instagram on Thursday, Sept. 5 where she shared a photo of her two sons heading off to high school and she revealed that it means "my boys off to high school together for the 1st time."
"I love their bond and want them to stay like this forever," The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom added in the caption of the Instagram post about their first day of school. "I literally can't believe Joey is starting high school. My baby. I love them so much."
Their big sister, Antonia Gorga (who is currently away at college), was also pretty floored by how big her little brothers have gotten, simply commenting back, "Highschoollll."
Melissa Gorga Opens up About Sons, Gino and Joey Jr., Going to High School
Earlier this summer, Melissa stopped by Bravo HQ and spoke to BravoTV.com about this big moment for her sons. “Little Joey is about to graduate 8th grade,” Melissa shared at the time. “Yes, he's about to go to high school, which now I can't believe. I'm gonna have another one entering high school, but he's doing [a] great job.”
She added that Joey Jr. is “the life” of their household and that he is “a real typical eighth-grade boy that's just trying to figure it all out.”
As for Gino, she noted that as he's making his way through his high school journey, he'll soon have to think about his next chapter. “So maybe next year we'll start to discuss that with Gino, but not yet. He's just not sure yet," she said about the high school sophomore, who recently started his own clothing line. “I always said he's gonna be like the hardest worker in the family. He gets that both from Joe and I, but he's got it all. He's the one that's always gonna be five steps ahead thinking about making money, thinking about business: That's Gino, so I'm very proud of him.”
