Heather Dubrow declared as much on The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 17 Episode 9, which aired on August 2, following her meetup with none other than billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban. Read on to find out how the two are working together as Heather makes strides to revive her acting career

How does Heather Dubrow know Mark Cuban?

Heather and Mark met years ago when she and her husband, Dr. Terry Dubrow, “invested in a company that he had created.”

At the time, Terry “was, like, enamored with Mark,” Heather joked in a confessional, adding that after she and Terry made the investment, “we ended up all having dinner together.”

“What I really love about him is how normal and laid-back he is,” Heather said of Mark. “I mean, the dude’s a billionaire.”

Why was Mark Cuban on The Real Housewives of Orange County?

Heather met up with Mark and Falon Fatemi to discuss the lifestyle network she had been planning to launch on the first-of-its-kind interactive streaming platform the two co-founded.

Expanding upon her role in a confessional, Heather explained that she can create all sorts of different content. “New eyeballs on me means more work,” she said. “Work begets work, meetings beget meetings. If that’s the way I’m gonna reintegrate myself into the acting world, maybe that’s the hole.”

That’s not to say Heather isn’t hesitant, though. As she told Mark, “Honestly, I’m nervous.”

“It’s hard,” he responded. “I mean, you know what it’s like. Creating a successful show is not easy, no matter what the platform [is]… It’s like the comedian standing up and telling a joke that bombs. It’s gonna happen.”

“Listen,” Heather began in a confessional, “this business is filled with rejection. And that’s such a mind f-ck. I have no idea what this new venture is gonna lead to. It’s scary and it’s daunting.”

But at the same time, “it also might remind people that Heather Paige Kent is still alive,” she concluded, “and looks fabulous.”

Stay tuned to see what’s to come for Heather’s acting career!
