Margaret Josephs Just Discovered Something About Her House: "I Never Noticed This"
The RHONJ cast member couldn't help but gush over the adorable detail in her bathroom: "I love this."
Margaret Josephs takes her toilet paper very seriously.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member proved this on Saturday, July 13, when she shared a recent discovery in her en-suite bathroom.
“OK, look at what I just noticed,” she said in an Instagram Story. “My toilet paper is scalloped. Do you guys have scalloped toilet paper? The devil’s in the details.”
Margaret provided a close-up shot of the toilet paper, which featured wavy perforation lines as opposed to the traditional straight ones.

Margaret Josephs gushes over her "adorable" toilet paper
“How come I’ve never noticed this before?” she continued. “This is absolutely adorable. I’m not sure what brand this is; I’m gonna have to figure this out but I know it’s thick and cushy because nothing makes me more upset than thin toilet paper. But I love this. A little scalloped edge. Happy Saturday.”
Although Margaret has yet to confirm the toilet paper brand, its debossed design looks similar to the one on Charmins’ Ultra Soft Smooth Tear. Procter & Gamble introduced the product in October 2023 after receiving customer complaints about uneven tear lines.
“The uneven tear is a result of straight perforations that don’t match the direction that consumers pull sheets and where the toilet paper is hung in the bathroom,” P&G’s senior scientist Gregg Weaver said in a press release. “The new Charmin wavy perforation ensures that you’re able to tear smoothly no matter where and how you tear.”
Margaret Josephs shows off her renovated bathroom
The Jersey ’Wife shared her discovery about a year after completing her extensive bathroom remodel. Margaret showcased the updates via Instagram last summer, saying it was one of the final projects in her and her husband Joe Benigno's home renovation journey.
The en suite featured a double-sink vanity with brass fixtures, stunning marble slabs from Daltile, and smokey-bronze shower doors that perfectly complimented the walls and countertops.
Fans got another look at the bathroom back in February when Margaret gave Page Six a full home tour.
“I love my bathroom so much,” she said in the video. “I wanted it to feel like an enclosed little spot. It’s not huge, it’s not big. We kept it the way the original house was. You had to walk through my closet, there’s no windows, but it’s our little sanctuary for me and Joe.”
She then focused on her “sexy” steam shower, which was specifically designed for multi-person use.
“A lot of people know that Joe and I shower together, so it was important that we had double showerheads, which I thought was so funny,” she continued. “So we did two fixtures… So he’s on one side and I’m on the other in our steam shower.”
