The RHOM cast member explained how Lenny Hochstein and Jody Glidden have a surprising connection related to her new home.
There's been an unexpected development in Lisa Hochstein's living situation.
On Season 6, Episode 16 of The Real Housewives of Miami, Lisa and her boyfriend, Jody Glidden, were talking about the "amazing" house that Lenny Hochstein agreed to build for her and their kids.
"I cannot believe that Lenny signed this paperwork," she said in an interview during the episode, which aired on February 14. "Thank god we did not have to go to court. He agreed to build a beautiful waterfront home for me and the kids to live in. I'm beginning to see a light at the end of the tunnel."

In a surprising turn of events, however, it turns out that Lenny just so happened to select plans for a home Jody was very familiar with. "Isn't it crazy that of all the architects and all the plans, you guys happened to pick the plan that we designed?" Jody asked.
Allow Lisa to explain: "Lenny proposed plans to me, and I was shocked when I saw them because they weren't just any plans, they were Jody's plans for the house he was meant to build. During COVID is when he decided to renovate because he was told to rebuild was gonna take way longer."
"So the plans are on a website," she continued. "It's a designer that Lenny had worked with in the past. Then he saw these plans and he absolutely loved them. I said, 'That's Jody's house!' He said, 'What do you mean that's Jody's house?' He couldn't believe it."
As Lisa and Jody continued chatting, she asked, "How does this even happen?" and added, "Adriana [de Moura]'s house, we're connected with that, and now Lenny randomly picking your plans."
Jody Glidden's house details
On the Season 6 premiere of RHOM, Adriana revealed that Jody coincidentally lives in her former home. On Episode 2, Jody invited Adriana to come see the renovations he did to the house. "I can't even recognize the place, wow," she said. "So, you changed everything. You changed the flooring."
Lisa Hochstein's living situation update
Currently, Lisa is renting a condo in Miami. Page Six reported in November 2023 that Jody helps cover the reported $32,000 monthly rental price, and Jody explained that decision in an Instagram comment.
"I know that probably sounds crazy for most of America. When I was growing up in Canada you could BUY a house for that monthly rental price," he wrote. "But like NYC, Miami rental prices are out of control. We now unfortunately rank highest inflation in the country, mainly due to a squeeze on high end real estate like the 4-5 bedroom that she needed. Most people needing large homes or apartments now have to move way outside of the city."
"Lisa looked at over 30 places and was about to choose a place over 30 minutes south of her kids' dad's and my place (kind of neighbors) and 60 minutes away from their school. I intervened," he continued. "I don’t want to be in the car all the time or have them in the car all day long. And it’s temporary since she’s supposed to have a house coming."
