Lisa Barlow Shares an Update on Her Son Jack’s Post-Graduation Plans
After saying “fudge college” on RHOSLC Season 3, Jack Barlow has revealed his latest endeavor.
Lisa Barlow is one proud mom. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member, who shares sons Jack and Henry with her husband, John Barlow, just posted about her eldest son’s recent exciting milestone — and you won’t believe what it is.
Jack Barlow’s Latest Achievement
Less than two months after celebrating Jack’s prom and gushing about his high school graduation, Lisa let her Instagram followers in on her son’s most recent milestone.
“This kid [Jack] had the most amazing day today,” Lisa wrote in the caption of her July 16 post after her son gave his “farewell talk” at a church in Draper, Utah. “There is nothing better than watching your child make hard decisions and do things with impact. I loved celebrating you today. I will miss you every second of every day but you are going to thrive. Grateful for so many people that have helped shape you[.] Today was one I will never forget.”
While Lisa didn’t explicitly share what Jack’s next move was in the caption of her post, she hinted at what his future will entail in the comments section. When a fan asked if Jack was headed to college, Lisa wrote, “he’s leaving home” along with a red heart emoji.
Jack Barlow’s Recent Milestones
As mentioned, Jack has had a banner year in 2023 as he’s said goodbye to his high school years.
Before Jack donned a cap and gown to receive his high school diploma, he attended prom in a lavender suit.
“Last prom for my [Jack]. I love/hate this!!!!! I laughed and cried yesterday.... all at the same time. I’m soooo glad I get to be your mom. So glad you make great choices. So glad you have great style and so happy we get to experience this with you,” Lisa wrote on April 30. “I could not love you more [Jack]. Your next steps are huge. Graduation is going to take me out.”
Just about a month later, Lisa opened up about her emotional reaction to Jack’s graduation.
“This major milestone is done,” she shared on May 25. “I’m so glad I was blessed to be your mom. You are everything beautiful in this world. You are the absolute best older brother. Most thoughtful son and my whole sunshine. I’ve been in awe of you since the day you were mine. You are so confident in being you and this journey you are going on will for sure impact the lives of others. I love you beyond. You will always have my complete heart.”
