Leah McSweeney Shares an Update on Her Daughter Kier with a Sweet Throwback Photo
The Real Housewives of New York City cast member opened up about what her daughter is up to today.
Leah McSweeney is many things: a cast member on The Real Housewives of New York City, an outspoken entrepreneur, and, of course, a proud mom to her daughter, Kier. And, the RHONY cast member offered an update on her lookalike kid just this week.
"You may be turning 14 today but you will forever be my baby. I may not be able to pick you up anymore but the nights I rocked you to sleep live in me forever. You will forever be my baby. You are going into high school as a young woman with integrity, kindness, humor (pretty dark I may add), empathy and intelligence. You make me and Daddy [Rob] so proud Kier Marie. But even when you go off to college, you will forever be my baby. Happy 14th Birthday my love. I love you so much," Leah wrote on Instagram alongside a throwback photo of her and Kier.
Leah often shares sweet throwbacks of her daughter that have given a little more insight into her life as a busy single mom over the years. One of those special moments happened to be a vintage photo of Leah pregnant with Kier all those years ago. "April 1st 2007. I had a beautiful baby shower celebration for Kiki. The restaurant doesn’t exist anymore. Anyone remember Rialto in Nolita? I had 100 Kier nameplates made that were supposed to be gold plated but they mistakenly made real gold and it cost me what was most likely my entire savings at the time. I thought I was going to go into early labor when I found out. It literally almost ruined my entire pregnancy. Anyway If you have one of those nameplates I want it back. Jk. What a special day," Leah wrote back in April.
On Mother's Day of this year, Leah shared a photo that featured a younger Kier, along with Leah's mom and grandmother (Leah's grandmother passed away in 2020).
Leah has also posted more recent family photos and solo shots of Kier that show how much her daughter has grown up. No matter how big Kier gets, it's clear that to her mom, "She’s my world."
