Lala Kent Teases "Whimsical" Nursery Design for Baby No. 2: "I'm So Excited!"
The Vanderpump Rules mom dropped the hints just weeks before her expected due date.
Lala Kent is in full nesting mode.
Just weeks before her expected due date, the Vanderpump Rules mom admitted she had yet to finish the nursery for baby No. 2. Lala said she had secured all the essentials for the room, but felt the space needed more personality. So what did she do? She went shopping, of course.
“Um, I went to T.J. Maxx. I’m a Maxxinista!” she said during her August 1 Amazon Live stream. “Well, I was sitting here and I’m like, what am I doing? This nursery — it’s a nursery, a generic one. I could bring home a boy, girl, and bring home whoever’s baby, but there’s no personal touch.”

Although she kept details to a minimum, Lala shared her vague vision for her baby’s nursery.
“So I would explain it as whimsical with a modern touch,” she said about the design aesthetic. “I just ordered one more thing to go above the crib and then I’ll post a picture. I’m very excited though.”
Lala shared more details about her nesting process in a recent interview with Mini magazine.
"I've got a couple diaper caddies on each floor," she said. "I remember taking [her daughter] Ocean around the house, getting all comfortable, then having to walk to her nursery every time she needed a diaper change. I've got my Nuna car seat ready to go and also got a Doona [stroller] because everyone swears by them."

After announcing her pregnancy in early March, Lala revealed she was having another baby girl and that her due date was set for September 1 — a day before her birthday. However, there's one big detail she’s managed to keep under wraps: the baby’s name.
“I think that’s what I’m super excited about,” she said. “No one’s guessed [her name]. That’s the best part about it. And it’s, like, how do I reveal it? Do I post a picture of the baby with the name? Or do I reveal the name after I’ve finished breastfeeding and I get the [name] tattooed? There are so many ways.”

While fans will have to wait to learn Baby S’s full name, there’s at least one Bravoleb who prematurely received that information: The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Erika Jayne. Lala confessed she mistakenly spilled the beans while attending Sutton Stracke’s star-studded fashion event last month.
“I’m surprised I've kept it a secret for this long,” Lala continued. “Although at Sutton’s show, the Green Label show that I went to last week, Erika goes, ‘Do you have a name?’ And I have not told anybody, you guys, and I just blurted it out to her. And she was mic’d! There are some people who just get things out of me.”

Lala — who shares her 3-year-old daughter, Ocean, with her ex-fiancé — said she was more than ready to welcome her bundle of joy, as she compared her pregnancy to a “40-week marathon.”
“I’m most excited to bring here home and have this new person a part of the crew, you know?” she said during the live stream. “It’s going to change the whole dynamic. It’s so wild to me that I’m just gonna pop out this baby and then life as I once knew it… I’m not going to remember a life without her. That’s how it is with Ocean… The moment that Baby S comes out, it’s gonna be like, ‘What was life before you existed?’”
