See the First Photos of Lala Kent's Baby
The Vanderpump Rules new mom and Randall Emmett shared some photos of the newborn, including one with her stepsister.
After giving birth just days ago, Vanderpump Rules' Lala Kent is showing off her newborn daughter, Ocean Kent Emmett. Lala posted two photos of herself snuggling and cradling the baby, and her fiancé, Randall Emmett, also shared a photo of the baby with her stepsister.
"Meeting your baby sister for the first time, true love," Randall, who has two daughters from a previous relationship, London and Rylee, captioned the sweet moment of one of his daughters bonding with the newborn. Randall also posted an update on Lala and Ocean shortly after her birth, writing, "She’s healthy, beautiful, and perfect like her mother!"
Previously, Lala opened up about her role as "Lala the stepmom," sharing in an interview with ET: "Ah, she's so fun. Because I get that role of, like, you can feel safe with me but we can also have the best time ever because I'm not your parent. Randall and the mom do such a great job of raising them so I let them handle that part and then I'm the one who's like, here, have some lip gloss. You want to do fake nails? We can do fake nails."
Randall also shed some light on Lala's relationship with his daughters in a separate interview. “She really spends the time and the attention and gives them the love and the cuddles,” he said in an interview with Us Weekly during Lala’s pregnancy. “I love the girl bond that the three of them have. I’m very blessed that they have this relationship. They’re just a little gang, and they cut me out of a lot of things now.”
Lala confirmed her pregnancy last September, just in time for her 30th birthday. At the time, she had this message for her daughter: “Honestly, I think the one thing would be, you’re safe with me. This world is gonna really try to kick your ass, but I got you, boo. I’m gonna kick its ass for you. As long as my kid always knows that it’s safe, I’m chilling.”
Later on, in an interview with The Daily Dish, she shared how being pregnant changed her: “It’s going to be the biggest year of my whole life. I’m very excited. I just, I can’t believe I’m gonna become a mom. Maybe it’s just because I haven’t been around anybody that I don’t vibe with that much, but I’m like, wow, I have become a really sweet person. I’m just feeling very maternal and motherly. And I’m just like, I didn’t realize I could love someone that I have never met so much.”
