Lala Kent Reveals What Her Daughter Ocean Wants to Be When She Grows Up
The Vanderpump Rules mom also shared how she's preparing for baby No. 2: "I'm mother of the year."
Lala Kent’s little girl has high hopes for her future.
The Vanderpump Rules cast member proved this last week when she revisited several highlights of the past month, including her daughter Ocean Kent Emmett’s first day of school. Although Lala had documented the milestone in several Instagram posts, she admittedly forgot to share Ocean’s “First Day of School” sign. But, as the old saying goes, better late than never.

The expectant mother unveiled the colorful sign in a July 24 carousel, revealing more details about her 3-year-old girl, whom she shares with her ex-fiancé. The fill-in-the-blank board was created by Erin DeSilva and featured several adorable tidbits about Ocean, including her royal aspirations.
“When I grow up I want to be… a princess,” the sign read.

Lala Kent shares an update on Ocean's first weeks of preschool
“She has officially started school and she absolutely loves it!” Lala wrote in the caption. “I’m mother of the year and spaced having her hold her First Day of School sign, but it’s too cute not to share. I’ve already set the reminder for Last Day of School photo WITH THE SIGN.”
The board listed Ocean’s age and height, as well as her favorite animal (dog), favorite song (Lana Del Rey’s “Dark Paradise”), favorite food (watermelon), and favorite color (blue).
Lala also provided a look at one of Ocean’s recent hairdos, proving she’s already developing a personal style.
“O asked for different hair,” Lala wrote, “and because there is not a lot of hair to work with we did a zigzag part.”

Elsewhere in the post, the Utah native reflected on attending Sutton Stracke’s fashion show in a sheer black catsuit and showing off her baby bump in a completely nude mirror selfie.
“I got to wear a sheer bodysuit and feel all sexy… I loved,” she wrote. “I stripped down to document my bod & bump at 34.5 weeks & naturally chose to share it with y’all.”
How Lala Kent is preparing for baby No. 2
Lala went on to confirm she had pre-recorded multiple episodes of her Give Them Lala podcast, which she plans to air while she’s on maternity leave.
“The plan is to only be out for 3 episodes, but y’all know I live and die by a plan B ‘just in case’ moment,” she continued.
Although she hasn’t revealed her second baby’s name, Lala has shared the child’s sex and extra special due date.
“We’re bumping, and expecting a baby in September,” she said during the Vanderpump Rules After Show. “My due date is September 1, which is wild because I’m September 2.”
