What Was Marissa Hermer's First Impression of New Ladies of London Pal Adela King?

You never know how a new addition to a group of friends will change its dynamic. But Marissa Hermer had a feeling she was going to fall in love with new Ladies of London chum Adela King when the new season began. "I didn't know her. We have a lot of very dear mutual friends in common," she recently told The Daily Dish. "I heard that a lot of them said, 'Oh my gosh, Adela's joining. You're gonna love her.'" 

The mom of three's intuition was quickly confirmed by reality. "I adored her from the start. How can you not?" Marissa gushed. "She's so sexy and British and cool... She's so sweet and caring." 

The fact that Marissa and Adela live just around the corner from each other has also helped them bond. "I push [my daughter] Sadie in the pram while she pushes [her dog] Disco," Marissa said. "We go on our morning walks with our babies together. She's actually become a very, very dear friend." 

However, Marissa teased that the vivaciousness that makes Adela loved by some will also make others jealous. "I gravitate towards her. If Adela's there, I know I'm gonna have a great time. I'm gonna giggle and laugh. We're gonna have a ball," Marissa explained. "I think Caroline Stanbury had a hard time with having her on the show initially. But I don't know, maybe the whole time."

Marissa said that's probably because Caroline enjoys being the center of attention. "Adela and Caroline have known each other for a long time, and Adela takes the spotlight wherever she is. It's hard not to. She's a knockout. She's loud and big and funny and adorable and all of these things. I think we all gravitated towards her," she said. "Caroline also likes the spotlight, so I think her old friend was sort of taking it away from her, and I'm not sure that's so easy." 

To be honest, this season of Ladies of London doesn't seem like a walk in the park for anyone in the cast. Get ready for the major drama to come, below.
