While visiting his home country of Spain this week, The Real Housewives of Dubai husband learned that his wife had sold off his “baby” in the UAE. Caroline, who had stayed in Dubai to oversee several home upgrades, confessed to the move in a September 5 Instagram Story, confirming Sergio’s 911 Porsche was no longer his.

“Say goodbye,” she captioned a video of the vehicle in the garage. “I sold [Sergio’s car] without telling him…"

Needless to say, Sergio wasn’t thrilled with the news and immediately began calling and texting his wife.

“I’ve been avoiding Sergio’s calls all morning because… his baby is gone,” Caroline said in another video. “It’s being picked up on Saturday. There’s nothing he can do about it. It’s been a lovely car. We love you.”

Sergio reposted several of Caroline’s Stories with some angry captions: “I hate you,” he wrote in one post, to which Caroline responded, “Oh well there is a fine line between love and hate.”

The Dubai ’Wife — who shares three children with her ex-husband — went on to share the slew of texts she received from Sergio. Although the messages contained some strong wording, it was clear that their exchange was all in good fun, as Sergio joked about going after Caroline’s Birkin bags.

“Hate you! This is not fare. I can’t leave the country and you sell my car,” he texted Caroline. “So sad now. Very emotional. Wait to [see] what I do to your birkin.”

“Touch a birkin loose a ball,” she captioned the screenshot.

Several hours later, Sergio returned to Instagram to share a quick “thank you for all the supportive messages he received during his time of mourning.

“Furious… Cars are untouchable,” he captioned the video.

“I want to say thank you for all the people out there who are sending all these lovely messages about it is not OK to sell my car when I’m gone,” he said. “You (Caroline) were waiting for this moment, honey, when I was gone to get rid of it.”

On Saturday, September 6, Caroline returned to Instagram to say her final goodbye to Sergio's Porsche.

"And just like that... it's gone," she wrote. "I have to say i don't think in all my years on tv i have ever had so many angry male fans!!! Sorry not sorry."

Sergio reveals he sold his first car to buy Caroline's engagement ring

Caroline met Sergio several years ago when she was promoting her podcast in California. Despite their 18-year age gap, Caroline and the retired soccer player quickly became serious and got engaged in 2021. The RHODubai ’Wife spoke about Sergio’s proposal in a recent interview with The Daily Dish, revealing how he managed to pay for her gorgeous engagement ring.

“He sold his first car that he got whenever he was however young,” the Ladies of London alum said.

Sergio told The Daily Dish he purchased said car, an Audi TT, when he was 17 or 18, and never planned to sell it… that is until he decided to pop the question.

“Everything was so fast, you know?” Sergio explained. “My dream was to keep that car in my living room [but] I had to change that [for] Caroline.”
