Caroline Stanbury has been open when it comes to her health as well as her cosmetic procedures. In the past, she's candidly discussed getting a facelift and in recent months has been equally honest about her experience with Ozempic.
When The Real Housewives of Dubai cast member spoke to Us Weekly earlier this summer, she revealed she had been on Ozempic following IVF. She shared at the time that she "put on 18 pounds on my body." After her experience with Ozempic, she said that she “got back to exactly where I’ve always been.”
Does Caroline Stanbury still use Ozempic?
Caroline did note in the June interview with Us Weekly that she was no longer using the medication: "Ozempic got me into my old jeans. I don’t take it. But … if I put [the weight] back on, I would absolutely take [more injections]. Why not maintain it? But right now, I’ve been really lucky [and] I don’t need it right now."
Stanbury, 48, added in her experience, “After 45, it becomes very, very hard to lose weight — and I’m not lazy. I’m not lying at home doing nothing. I go to the gym, I have a trainer, I walk all the time [and] I’m busy.”
How did Sergio Carrallo react to Caroline Stanbury taking Ozempic?
On her podcast, Uncut & Uncensored With Caroline Stanbury (via E! News), she revealed in a May episode that her husband, Sergio Carrallo, was "completely against" the idea of her taking Ozempic.
Caroline Stanbury Details Other Lifestyle Changes
In a more recent conversation with Page Six, she shed new light on what it was like for her when she was taking the medication. She detailed a night in Los Angeles when she was out at The Abbey with Sergio. After "one drink" she said that she was "projectile vomiting" while she was on Ozempic, which Sergio said was "terrible."
When speaking to the publication, she also revealed that she is drinking less these days overall.
“It just doesn’t react that well with me. I like to have a drink. I just don’t drink to the point … like, I used to party like a rock star. I realized at my age it just takes me so long to recover and I lose all those days,” she said. “And then you end up chatting rubbish with people you really don’t like. Then I have a horrible hangover in the morning and my tummy, it’s so acidic, too. I just don’t feel good.”
