Kyle Richards Dishes on Her and Mauricio Umansky's Holiday Plans
The RHOBH mom reveals if she and her estranged husband will reunite for Thanksgiving.
Nothing brings a family together quite like the holidays.
In the 16 months since announcing their separation, Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky have remained loving and supportive fixtures in each other’s lives. This has become quite apparent through their string of reunions, in which they celebrated birthdays, weddings, and holidays with their children Alexia, Sophia, and Portia Umansky, as well as Kyle’s oldest daughter, Farrah Aldjufrie, from a previous marriage.
Will Kyle and Mauricio reunite for Thanksgiving?
But now that Kyle and Mauricio are no longer cohabitating, some have wondered if they intend to spend the 2024 holiday season as a united front. Well, according to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom, that’s “definitely” the plan for Thanksgiving.
“Oh yeah, we’ll see each other during the holidays,” Kyle told E! News during Bravo Fan Fest in Miami (November 23). “You know, we are a family. We have our daughters together. So, we’ll see each other during the holidays for sure.”

Kyle and Mauricio — who also spent last Christmas and Thanksgiving together — confirmed their separation on July 4, 2023, as they and their family were vacationing in Aspen. Since then, Kyle has insisted she and Mauricio are still good friends and have not taken any steps toward legal separation. She addressed the divorce topic during the November 11 episode of the Housewives Nightcap podcast, explaining why they haven’t filed.
“It just hasn’t felt like any reason, any pressing reason to,” the Housewife said. “And it just, I don’t know, feels big and dramatic. I wish I had a better answer because I actually don’t… I don’t know, he moved out and he does his thing, I do my thing…
“If I were to analyze this, it’s just kind of scary. But, yeah, I don’t know. I think I need a psychologist,” she said with a laugh. “It’s, like, we have a big family together, we have homes… It’s like, OK, we’re not together, but we don’t want anything to change.”
Kyle opens up about Mauricio moving out of their home
Fans got a closer look at Kyle’s new chapter in the RHOBH Season 14 premiere (November 19), which began filming just weeks after Mauricio moved out of their Encino home. Kyle recalled the moment during the Tour de Wives panel at Bravo Fan Fest.
“I’m definitely way better than I was when we were shooting this season,” Kyle told the audience. “It was a very emotional season. I had come home from Coachella and [Mauricio] had moved out on that Sunday and I had not realized. And Alexia [Umansky] had moved out a couple of weeks before and, all of a sudden, my house felt very quiet… It was very hard for me. It was really sad.”
