Phaedra Reveals Exactly Why Apollo's Not Allowed in Her House Amid "On & Off" Relationship
Married to Medicine's Phaedra Parks is shedding new light on her relationship with ex-husband Apollo Nida.
As a reiki master and mortician, Phaedra Parks certainly knows how to read energy. And that's exactly why she's set one very specific boundary with her ex-husband, Apollo Nida.
During Season 11, Episode 3 of Married to Medicine, Phaedra gave some insight into her relationship with Apollo when he came by her house to pick up their two sons, Ayden and Dylan, for the weekend.When Apollo showed up, Phaedra and the boys met him outside — partly because, as Phaedra has previously revealed, she doesn't allow him to go inside the home. Seeing this, a producer asked Phaedra if he'll ever be allowed back in, and she gave some more insight into her rule.
"Apollo's not allowed in my house because ... I don't want that energy in my house," she shared in a confessional. "We're trying to successfully coparent, and he's crazy."

Phaedra opened about about her and Apollo's current relationship during the episode.
"Apollo and I have been on-and-off romantic since 1995. We've had our ups and downs, but I want what's best for my children," she said. "And at the end of the day, I'm raising young African American boys, and they need to have a relationship with their dad."

Apollo is Phaedra's ex husband. The duo split in 2014 after five years of marriage, and had their divorce finalized in 2017.

In the recent Married to Medicine episode, Phaedra told Apollo he'd need to handle Dylan and Ayden for five days because she was going on a girls trip to Florida.
"We're thinking about going camping," he said, promising there would be lots of food for their always hungry sons.
