Gina Kirschenheiter & Travis Mullen Talk Working Together in Real Estate: "There Are Obstacles"
The RHOC couple revealed new details about launching a real estate team together.
Gina Kirschenheiter and her boyfriend, Travis Mullen, just revealed some major career news: they've launched their own real estate team, The Gated Group, with eXp Realty. Now, The Real Housewives of Orange County couple is sharing new details on how they're working together with their new business venture.
“We know we are good at this job, we know our clients are well taken care of, and we know we are a solid team together,” Gina shared with Us Weekly in a December 3 interview. “I am definitely most excited that we are starting our own real estate team this year because I know we are going to crush it in 2025!”
Additionally, Travis gave his two cents on the matter, revealing that the latest career move has actually "strengthened" their relationship.
“I certainly understand that every relationship is different, but I think that Gina and I genuinely enjoy spending time with each other,” Travis told the outlet. “Doing real estate together allows us to maximize our time together, which is great. I also believe it has strengthened our relationship because on every transaction, there are obstacles that come up and we continue to learn how to overcome obstacles together. From that perspective, it is a win.”
Gina added that Travis is the "brain and heart of our brand" while Travis praised the West Coast mom's "genuine" strengths as a "people person" fit for the biz. "She has a knack for interior design and notices all the important details within the homes," he said. "She also loves shopping, which is basically what the home search process is. Personally, I enjoy putting the puzzle pieces together in order to help our clients secure the home that they fall in love with.”
Moreover, in an October interview with The Daily Dish, Gina shared that she and her beau "actually work really well together," adding, "The real estate is going really well, thankfully. We are a good team and we are a good unit."
She also noted that she and Travis "didn't let any of [their] personal situation spill into [their] business."
"I think that was really helpful for us to be able to move forward," she concluded during our conversation.

In a December 3 video post shared to Instagram, Gina and Travis revealed their plans with luxury-focused Gated Group as they walked along various locations in Orange County.
"We're thrilled to announce a new chapter," Gina stated in a voiceover in the video as Travis described their new career move as a "fresh and exciting venture in real estate where dreams become reality."
Concluding the video, Travis added, "Whether you're buying, selling, or dreaming, we're here to make it happen."
