Kandi Burruss Celebrates Her Latest Project with Her Family: "I'm So Grateful"
The RHOA cast member shared a peek into her special night with her family and friends.
Kandi Burruss can always count on her family to show their support! As captured in a series of photos, The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member and her loved ones recently celebrated the opening night of the Broadway play she's currently co-producing, Thoughts of a Colored Man.
On October 14, Kandi took to Instagram to offer a peek into the special night “Opening night of #ThoughtsOfAColoredMan was EVERYTHING!!!! I’m so grateful to be a producer on this amazing show, with an amazing cast, & team!” she wrote in the caption. “Thank you to all of the people who came out to support & show love! It means more than you know.”
Kandi also shared a sweet snapshot with some of many family members and friends who came out to commemorate occasion. “My tribe came through deep last night! Thanks for lifting me up. Your presence meant everything to me,” she captioned a group photo with several of her relatives and friends.
Kandi’s husband Todd Tucker also took to Instagram to open up about how proud he is of his wife’s latest accomplishment. “I’m so proud of you! I remember when you talked about wanting to perform on Broadway. You’ve accomplished that and now your a producer of the first all male black cast and all black production. This is Epic!!!” he wrote. “@coloredmanplay is an amazing play! Keep setting goals and accomplishing them! You inspire so many!!!”
Kandi’s eldest daughter Riley and stepdaughter, Kaela, also took to their own Instagram Stories to capture some memorable moments from the event.
