Jax Taylor Says Scheana Shay's New Boyfriend Is "Night and Day" Different from Mike Shay

These days Scheana Shay has been spending her free time with her boyfriend, Robert Valletta. The Vanderpump Rules SUrver started dating the actor following her split from Mike Shay last November. And if you're wondering how alike he and her ex are, well, they're not, Jax Taylor explains. 

"He's a really nice guy. Rob is a really really nice guy. I mean night and day [from Shay]. Not saying Shay's not a great guy; he is, but he's totally opposite of Shay," the SUR bartender told The Daily Dish. "It seems like they have a great relationship. They spend every waking moment together since they've been dating. I haven't seen too much of her lately cause she really in his world now. She's kind of distanced herself since she started dating him and I haven't seen her since the reunion."

Scheana and Shay reunited for the first time in months at the upcoming Season 5 reunion. And Jax says that Scheana's former hubby only recently learned about her new romance. "I do keep in touch with Shay, and he recently just found out that she is dating someone and I think he's OK with it," Jax said. "I think he's just a lot happier now. In fact, I know he's a lot happier now. He's actually who he wants to be. We all thought he knew that Scheana was dating Rob 'cause actually Shay and Rob were friends. And Scheana dated [Rob] a long time ago and then left him, went back to Shay, and now she's back with Rob."

Whatever the future may hold for Scheana and Rob, Jax always had an inkling that she and Shay weren't meant to be. "I think Shay's a great person. I think Scheana's a great person," he said. "I think they were just terrible for each other."
