Brock Surprised Scheana with Her "Dream" Home Renovation: "A Little Too Ambitious"
Vanderpump Rules' Brock Davies had only "46 hours and 30 minutes" to finish a special project for Scheana Shay.
Brock Davies just gave Scheana Shay the ultimate surprise. On October 15, the Vanderpump Rules dad revealed he was cooking up a new home project: a music studio for his wife. The twist? The "Good As Gold" singer had no idea it was coming.
"We have three days to build my wife her own music studio," Brock began in the caption of an Instagram video that detailed his journey. "Today was prep… and to be honest I feel a little outside my comfort zone."
Though Brock was out of his "comfort zone," he still did some excellent work on the project, revealing he had only "46 hours and 30 minutes" to finish while Scheana was away on a trip.
Brock first hit up Home Depot and Jo-Ann Fabric and Crafts for special fabrics to create a "starry night" ceiling effect and other materials to help "diffuse the audio" of the back of the room.

Brock hopped back on his Instagram on October 19th to share more details about the DIY project, noting he was "surprising the wife with her dream music studio" in less than a few hours. "Let’s just say I might have been a little too ambitious thinking I could finish this in just 2 days," Brock joked in the caption. "But I’m all in and giving it my best to make this happen."
Ultimately, Brock was able to pull it off, lining the walls with black sound-proofing wood veneer panels, adding wallpaper, and mounting a TV. He even created an "invisible door look" by adding panels on the back of the door.
"Finishing strong, and I couldn’t do it without the support of you guys," Brock, who nicknamed himself "Brock the Builder," concluded in the caption. "Stay tuned to see how this crazy build turns out!!"
Scheana Shay and Brock Davies' Garage Updates
In addition to the music studio, Brock used those black wall panels in another area of their new home: the garage.
"Today I finished the wood paneling in the garage and played the electrician with the lights," the California dad captioned a September 21 time-lapse Instagram video that showed how he took on the home project.
In the video, Brock glued those same black wood panels he used on Scheana's music studio all around the walls of the garage for a sleek look and feel. He also mounted a TV and added more panels to the tops of the walls for additional sound-proofing.
"I want to make sure I dampen that sound while having more of an aesthetically pleasing wall inside the garage," Brock explained in a voiceover on the video.
