Jax Taylor Clarifies Where He Stands with Tom Schwartz Today
The Valley's Jax Taylor just shared a major update on his friendship with Tom Schwartz.
Jax Taylor and Tom Schwartz's friendship is going just as strong as it was on early seasons of Vanderpump Rules.
ICYMI, Tom Schwartz rang in his 42nd birthday on October 16. In honor of his big day, Jax paid tribute to his friend of over a decade on Instagram. "Happy birthday to my best friend [Tom Schwartz]," The Valley cast member wrote alongside a selfie of the two.
He also re-posted a picture of the pair from their February 2024 trip to Montreal, Canada.
"Last one old man," Jax cheekily wrote for the Tom Tom part owner.
Do Jax Taylor and Tom Schwartz live together?
Jax and Tom Schwartz are neighbors. After officially moving out of the Valley Village home he once shared with Brittany Cartwright and their son, Cruz Michael Cauchi, Jax moved into the same apartment complex as Tom Schwartz.
"Everyone keeps saying, do I live with Tom Schwartz? I do not live with Tom Schwartz," Jax said on the September 13 episode of his podcast, When Reality Hits with Jax and Brittany. "He has a townhouse that is next to mine, but they are completely separate. We have our own building, but we do not live together."
Jax and Tom Schwartz aren't in the same home, but they do rely on one another for support.
"He is my best friend at the end of the day," Jax said. "And if I need help with something, if I need help with Cruz, he's right there."
Jax Taylor says Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval are his "best friends"
As longtime Vanderpump Rules fans know, Jax, Tom Schwartz, and Tom Sandoval were best friends for many years on the show. But while Jax and Tom Schwartz always remained close, Jax's friendship with Tom Sandoval previously came to a dramatic end.
However, after taking a few years off from their friendship, Jax and Tom Sandoval are "best friends" again. As Jax shared on a September episode of his podcast, Tom Sandoval reached out to Jax when he was seeking in-patient treatment for mental health-related issues.
"He and I have been best friends for many, many years," Jax explained. "Obviously [his affair] was a very, very big thing, and we had to take a break a little from our friendship. He had to take a break from a lot of friendships, but I think time heals all wounds."
"I think we're all human, we all make mistakes, and I think, you know what? He's always going to be my best friend. [He] and Tom Schwartz are my best friends, and I love them to death," Jax concluded. "And, like I said, I think it's time to move on. I really do."
