This Photo Is Proof That "Things Have Changed" for Jax Taylor

Jax Taylor's life looks a little different these days. The Vanderpump Rules alum is a loving husband, a newly minted bar owner (more on that later), and — this is the most important part — a dad.
In a recent Instagram post, Jax's wife Brittany Cartwright presented visual proof of just how much her husband's life has changed since he became Cruz's father.
To back up a bit, Jax and Brittany welcomed their first baby, their adorable little boy, back in 2021. At the time, the new dad shared the most touching sentiment, writing: “I’ve never in my life thought it was going to be like this... it’s 10000 times better. Dad mode just kicks in."

Jax Taylor's life has drastically "changed" since becoming a dad
Brittany's January 3 Instagram post revealed what a shopping trip looks like for Jax these days. Her photo showed the dad standing in the door of Abercrombie & Fitch, wearing fitted black pants and turquoise kicks. In his arms, Jax held Cruz, who appeared to be wearing an adorable set of Christmas pajamas as he rested his head on his dad's shoulder.
In her caption, Brittany wrote: "Oh how things have changed." And indeed, it seems like they have. Take a peek:

Even though Jax's bartending days seem to be over, he hasn't strayed from hospitality. Back in August, Jax and Brittany revealed on their podcast, When Reality Hits with Jax and Brittany, that they were getting into the bar business.
“I am opening a sports bar. It is going to be called Jax’s Studio City,” Jax shared at the time. “We started construction on Monday and I am really excited. We are finally going to have a neighborhood sports bar.”
He added: “I know in the past I said that owning a bar is basically a marriage killer, but the difference is [Brittany is] involved just as much as I am. My wife is involved just as much as I am. We have 100% say in what is going on, and she is doing the decorating.”
The venue is now open, and it has a very Kentucky-style menu item. In an Instagram Story from October, Brittany shared a photo from Jax's Studio City and wrote: "Mamaw's beer cheese is finally here!!"
A photo shared a peek at the legendary cheese, which has been a long time in the making. The couple originally hatched plans to sell the cheese, which is inspired by Brittany's grandma's recipe, in 2018.
