Kristen Claims Jax Isn't "Allowed" to Run His Social Media After His "Tangents"
It turns out Jax Taylor even once blocked a Vanderpump Rules producer on social media.

The Valley’s Jax Taylor didn’t hold back while talking about Kristen Doute, her boyfriend, Luke Broderick, or his own social media habits (aka his love of the block button).
“I felt bad for Luke … Luke is such a nice guy,” Jax said while seated with Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval on Vanderpump Rules After Show.
If it appeared that Jax thought otherwise about Luke when he temporarily blocked him on social media, well, that “has to do with how Kristen brings people into their group,” said Jax.

Are Jax Taylor and Luke Broderick friends now?
In the early Season 1 episodes of The Valley, Jax and Luke seemed to mix like oil and water.
According to Jax, he was initially wary because Kristen rushes into relationships.
“When she meets somebody,” Jax said, “she drives it home. ‘This is my new boyfriend. We’re together now. So please take him out here. Bring him out, invite him here.’ OK, we’ll gradually do it.”
But there were issues, explained Jax, because Kristen didn’t want Luke around her exes.
“I felt bad for Luke,” Jax admitted. “He’s walking into a world that he doesn’t know.”
Kristen’s desire to get pregnant also gave Jax pause. That’s why he wanted Luke to meet Kristen’s ex-boyfriend, Alex Menache.
“We know her background with relationships and what goes on,” said Jax. “I was just kind of being like, ‘I'm not telling you what to do, you're a grown man. But please do your research.’ That's why I wanted him to meet Alex.”

During a guy’s night out in an early episode of The Valley, Jax covertly forced Luke to meet Alex. Luke bristled at the ambush, naturally.
“Why would I try to be friends with my girlfriend’s ex?” Luke told Jax. In a confessional, Luke added, “Kristen has told me that her ex was very difficult, and their relationship still triggers her.”
Jax maintained on the After Show that he wanted Luke and Alex to “be OK with each other. But I thought wrong. It turned out to be a disaster.”
Kristen was furious, but Jax took Kristen’s blowback in stride.
“When she breaks up with somebody, she expects you to eliminate that person, too,” said Jax. “I'm a 44-year-old man. I don't do that."
Why Jax Taylor Blocks Certain People
Jax claimed he had a good reason for blocking Luke.
“I remember why. I think he went off on me and I had his best interests [in mind]. I really did. I was trying to invite him into our group," Jax said of blocking him.
Jax then claimed,“I don’t block anybody," but Schwartz gently begged to differ. He said that in 2021 Jax “randomly” blocked him: “I don’t know why," he added.
Jax had to concede that point. “Sometimes I go on my little tangents,” he admitted.
“I think we’ve all been there,” Sandoval said.
However, Scheana Shay and Kristen also gave their two cents on Jax’s social media blocks. Apparently, they don't just extend to cast members.
“I remember when he blocked me,” said a producer.
“It’s like a rite of passage,” said Scheana.
“I think Jax isn’t really allowed to, like, use his own social media anymore. I’m pretty sure his publicist handles that," Kristen said.
