Katie Unpacks a Run-In with Tom Sandoval & Girlfriend Victoria: "Surprise, Surprise"
Vanderpump Rules' Katie Maloney admitted she "could have done without" seeing Tom Sandoval and his girlfriend, Victoria Lee Robinson.
Katie Maloney just had a bit of an awkward run-in with Tom Sandoval and his girlfriend, Victoria Lee Robinson.
Though Tom and Katie are castmates on Vanderpump Rules, their friendship has long been strained (and it was even before Katie divorced his best friend, Tom Schwartz).
As a result, she said it was strange to see Tom Sandoval and his girlfriend, who he has been dating since early 2024, at a recent Limp Bizkit concert.
"Out of my periph[ery], I see the two of them and they're just waving at me..." Katie said on the September 4 episode of her podcast, Disrespectfully about how Tom Sandoval and Victoria reacted to seeing her. "Why are you waving? It was kind of a bit of a 'F-ck you.'"
Though the three were at a concert together (with Katie's podcast co-host and Vanderpump Rules alum Dayna Kathan), Katie described the crowd as a "pretty intimate gathering of folks."
Katie and Dayna also said they were there as guests of the band, so they didn't want to cause a scene at the concert when they were on stage.
"It didn't ruin anything, [we just] could have done without it," Katie added.
"I didn't really think Tom was a Limp Bizkit fan, but surprise, surprise," Katie shadily concluded about the encounter.
Where do Tom Sandoval and Katie Maloney stand today?
Katie and Tom Sandoval are currently not friends, and their complicated relationship has often been highlighted on Vanderpump Rules.
Tom Sandoval and Katie's inability to see eye to eye with each other caused issues between Katie and Tom Schwartz during their marriage, especially when the guys were trying to open their bar, Schwartz & Sandy's. After Katie and Tom Schwartz's split, Tom Sandoval was vocal about how he really felt about Katie.
On the May 21 episode of the Season 11 Vanderpump Rules After Show, Tom Sandoval called Katie "the very definition of evil."
He did, however, apologize to Katie for any role he might have played in the demise of her marriage on Season 11, Episode 8.
"I want to apologize to you for the way I acted last year during your divorce," Tom Sandoval said on the show. "I know that you were going through a lot and probably didn't need any of that extra sh-t."
