Emily Simpson Declares That Shane Simpson Is "Officially Fired" (VIDEO)

Emily Simpson and husband, Shane Simpson, could not be any more in love. The couple celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary on The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18, and are continually keeping the spark alive. However, their spark can sometimes get in the way of Emily's "business" and now she's "officially" firing her life partner from an important job he holds in her life.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on Thursdays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

In a recent video posted to Instagram, Shane captured Emily laying on a raft in the pool before walking towards her with his hand out, grabbing her butt. "The view," Emily wrote over the final shot, referring to what Shane had his sights set on the view of Emily.  "He's officially fired as my videographer," Emily wrote in the caption of the hilarious post.

What kind of lawyer is Shane Simpson?

Luckily, Shane has a career to fall back on now that his job as Emily's "videographer" has fallen through. Shane is an attorney at Benjumea & Associates in Orange County, specializing in worker's compensation. But, "Instagram husband" is a very important skill to have on his resumé.

Emily took to her Instagram Feed over Labor Day weekend,  where she posted a video while on vacation with Shane in Cancun. The couple hung out in a pool while on their romantic, tropical getaway, where Emily asked Shane to get some content of her. "When you ask your husband to make a video of the view...," Emily wrote over the video.

How Emily & Shane Simpson Celebrated Their 15th Wedding Anniversary

Viewers watched as the couple celebrated their anniversary during RHOC Season 18 Episode 5, where they exchanged gifts over dinner and professed their love to one another. Emily gifted Shane a photo taken from a boudoir photoshoot that she did earlier in the season while Shane gifted her a brand-new upgraded engagement ring.

During a confessional in the episode, Emily stated that she was proud to celebrate such a major anniversary. "15 years is such a huge milestone," she said during the episode. "Shane and I are at this point, where, I don't know, I feel like we really understand each other."

Emily was blown away by Shane's anniversary gift to her — a stunning ring with a large center stone surrounded by a halo of diamonds set on a pavé band. "Oh wow!" Emily said when she saw the ring during the episode. "That looks really big. That's huge. Looks nice, thank you!"

Why Emily Simpson & Shane Are "Not Getting Divorced"

Clearly, there is plenty of love between Emily and Shane. In a post to her Instagram Story in early August, Emily reposted "breaking news" about her and Shane "officially divorcing." But, she shut down any rumors about their ruptured romance.

"We're not getting divorced!" Emily wrote over the reposted story. "Shane is never getting rid of me! This is BS clickbait."
