Heather Dubrow Reveals Where She Stands with Shannon Today After the John Drama
The RHOC cast member addressed the “narrative” that she’s the one “talking about Shannon’s relationship” on Season 17.
Shannon Storms Beador and John Janssen’s relationship has proved to be a big topic of conversation on The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 17. Several of the ladies have made comments about the couple, but one person feels like she’s being blamed entirely: Heather Dubrow.

Heather Dubrow’s Thoughts About the RHOC Drama on Shannon Storms Beador and John Janssen’s Relationship
In a recent interview with Us magazine, Heather defended herself against the notion that she’s the one responsible for the group talking about Shannon and John’s relationship.
“There’s this whole narrative that I am talking about Shannon’s relationship. Well, do you ever see me talking about Shannon’s relationship? I really haven’t,” Heather explained. “I’m not talking about Shannon’s relationship. Everyone talks about Shannon’s relationship. And the person that talks about Shannon’s relationship the most is Shannon.”
Later, Heather added, “I understand not wanting your relationship to be scrutinized. I understand why it’s upsetting to her… but there is a difference between talking about someone and talking against someone.”

Ultimately, Heather described the entire situation as “silly” and insisted she had no reason to insult Shannon behind her back.
“Why would I do that to her? We hung out so much before this season,” Heather noted. “In between seasons, we hung out so much, and we would run into each other. We’d end up having dinner, we’d hang out. I loved it. I really did. And I really enjoyed her friendship.”
Looking to the rest of RHOC Season 17, Heather said fans can expect to see her try “very hard” to “prove” her friendship to Shannon.
“I tried many times,” she added. “I don’t think she’s interested, and I’ve tried so many times at this point.”
Going on to acknowledge that Shannon and John are no longer together, Heather said she “just want[s] her to be happy.”
