John Janssen Has a New Smile: See the Before & After Photo
John Janssen's teeth transformation was a buzzy topic of conversation during the RHOC Season 18 reunion.
During Part 3 of The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion, Shannon Storms Beador and Alexis Bellino were in a heated argument regarding Shannon's ex-boyfriend and Alexis' current fiancé, John Janssen. While going back-and-forth about words exchanged during the season, Alexis discussed Shannon talking about John's teeth and "bad knees." This prompted Shannon to reflect back to a point earlier in the season when someone mentioned John's "bigger smile" these days.
According to Shannon, that smile wasn't only due to his new relationship with Alexis, as was implied, but to him getting new veneers.
"They said he had a bigger smile, and it was because of the new teeth!" Shannon exclaimed as a photo appeared on the screen that showed a before-and-after look at John's brighter, whiter, and more aligned smile.
Alexis, however, had other thoughts about why John's smile changed. "I think he's happy," she shared. "I think he's finally happy."
Shannon Storms Beador and John Janssen settle their lawsuit
In addition to talking about John's new smile, Shannon and Alexis had a heated argument during the reunion about John and Shannon's lawsuit over $75,000 he allegedly gave her for a facelift during their relationship.
During Part 2 of the reunion, Shannon revealed John lowered the suit's ask from $75,000 to $70,000. "And I agreed because I know my legal costs will be more than $70,000 — and that's a really hard thing for me to do — but I said I would give him the $70,000," Shannon shared at the time. "[But] he wouldn't sign a mutual non-disparage agreement."
At that time, Shannon was "still waiting to hear John's response" with regard to the lawsuit.
More recently, it was revealed that the exes have moved on from their legal drama. On November 19, Shannon's lawyer Dave Beitchman revealed Shannon decided to settle the suit.
"Shannon made an incredibly smart emotional and financial decision in deciding to settle this case. I have no doubt in my mind that Shannon would prevail in this matter," read a statement to The Daily Dish. "The premise of this lawsuit itself is shameful, but the cost of defending the case would easily be more than the amount that was sought. While she was certainly prepared to fight for the truth, I congratulate her in taking the high road and putting this matter behind her."
