Bronwyn Reveals Todd Has Made “Big Changes” After “Cutthroat” Cast Trip Drama (EXCLUSIVE)
Bronwyn Newport opened up about her tough conversation with husband, Todd Bradley, during the RHOSLC After Show.
Bronwyn Newport is revealing that her husband,Todd Bradley, has made some changes after their tense conversation that left her her in tears on Season 5, Episode 10 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
In case you missed it, after their anniversary trip to Palm Springs, Todd told Bronwyn that he was disappointed in how she conducted herself in an argument with Lisa Barlow, and that she'd "ruined a perfectly nice afternoon."
In The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City After Show video above, Bronwyn reflected on that moment with her husband.
"We had a come-to-Todd moment, where he really is hard on me about stooping to the level he thought other people were at," Bronwyn said. "Blunt [communication] is not always great in a sensitive situation. He's had to learn different communication strategies and techniques, and I've also had to learn that Todd and I are very different people. We speak differently, we interact differently, we like different things. But Todd loves me as much as Todd can love somebody, so I see it now through a lens of — when it's heavy-handed or hard or not the way I would handle it — that's Todd doing his best. And that's good enough, always. But he has really made big changes."
"Gwen and I, we are not business associates," she continued with a laugh. "We are not a portfolio company. We are not his administrative assistants. He has to speak to us in a non-business way."
The fashionista also took some time to explain her husband's thought process.
"He's very serious, he's very cutthroat, he's all business. But he's not like that with me, so I don't know why Todd is so surprised that I am nice and pleasant to him, and funny and kind of cutthroat and all business and no bullsh-t with you ladies," Bronwyn told Whitney Rose before a clip of the uncomfortable conversation she'd had with her husband played.
"I think Todd's very surprised by the depth of how low we go with each other and the things that are said, and how we seem to rebound, or not," Bronwyn added, while Whitney also noted that it was intense for Todd to have his first experience with the ladies on a trip. "Trips are always the worst," she explained.
Bronwyn also made it a point to explain that her husband can be soft sometimes — and she likes every version of him.
"He is a teddy bear," she said. "You have to make him feel comfortable enough to be that person. But I also like when he will go tell John [Barlow] 'No, this nonsense has got to stop.' We like tough Todd, too."

As previously noted, during Season 5, Episode 10, Todd told Bronwyn that he didn't approve of how she acted during their trip to Palm Springs.
"The ten years we've been together, I've never seen you act the way you acted this weekend. You know?" he began during the episode. "I know we've known Lisa and John a long time, but for you to sit in the hot tub and scream back and forth with her is ridiculous."
"I guess you did what you thought was right, I've just never seen you act that way. And frankly it's not very becoming for you," he added.

Naturally, the other RHOSLC cast members had plenty to say about the scene.
"I mean, look, I would hope that if Seth [Marks] were bothered by something I did, he would tell me," said Meredith Marks. "Does it mean I would change the behavior? Not necessarily. I'd certainly take his feelings into consideration."
However, Meredith couldn't tell Heather Gay the last time her husband reprimanded her on her public conduct.
"It's usually me saying, 'You talk too much,'" she added. "That's the argument."
