When Shannon Storms Beador appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on August 2, she shared an update on her situation with John Janssen. We’ll dive into the on-again, off-again couple’s relationship timeline below, but first things first: Where do they stand today?
Are Shannon Storms Beador and John Janssen together?
During Shannon’s appearance in the Clubhouse, she mentioned that she and John had recently been to a club together, noting, “We spend time together. One day at a time. We have fun when we do things together.”
Andy also brought up a rumor that’s been circulating about a run-in Shannon had with John’s daughter. “Shannon, what do you think the No. 1 question is for you tonight?” Andy asked. Shannon replied grimly: “Yeah, I know. There’s a story out there.” Andy decided to clear it all up, right there in the Clubhouse.
What happened with John Janssen’s daughter?
“What happened with John’s daughter?” Andy asked. “Why were you screaming at her? Were you thrown out of a club for screaming at John Janssen’s daughter, Shannon?”
Here’s what Shannon had to say: “Unfortunately, I don’t have a positive relationship with John’s daughter, which happens often in blended families. We did have an argument, and I was upset about it.”
After the argument, Shannon said, the lights came up in the club as it was about to close for the night. “I wasn’t kicked out,” she said. “But I asked security to help me with my Uber. That was it.”
Shannon Storms Beador and John Janssen’s Relationship Timeline
Shannon and John began dating in the summer of 2019, about two years after Shannon filed for divorce from David Beador.
Shannon and John’s romance was captured on RHOC and seemed to be going strong, which is why some Bravo viewers were shocked to learn the couple had parted ways in late 2022.
Shannon was surprised too. The Real for Real founder said she was completely “blindsided” by the breakup.
By the summer of 2023, Shannon and John were back on speaking terms after months of not communicating. The OC mom confirmed they had both dated other people after breaking up, but decided to have dinner together once she ended her relationship with a mystery man.
Since then, Shannon and John have enjoyed each other’s company on several occasions. However, Shannon has said their relationship is strictly platonic.
