Dorit Kemsley Reveals Unseen Detail From Viral Smoking Moment: "I Was Actually..."
RHOBH's Dorit Kemsley sounded off on that smoking moment from the Season 14 premiere.
Dorit Kemsley smoking in her car on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14 premiere quickly went viral, and now, she's sounding off on the moment (which came just as headlines about her separation from Paul "PK" Kemsley broke.)
On the November 19 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, host Andy Cohen asked the mom of two, "Was that the first time we've seen you smoking on this show?"
"Yeah," Dorit responded.
"That was the most iconic scene ever," WWHL's other guest Lala Kent declared. "Flying down the Canyon in a G-Wagon."
Dorit then revealed something surprising about the moment, and why it may have seemed so intense on the show. "You know what? I was actually being chased by paparazzi," she said. "Yeah, so, I was like, 'Oh, my God. Oh, my God.' You couldn't tell that."
"That canyon's no joke," fellow California resident Lala added. "I was impressed."
What was Dorit Kemsley's smoking moment?
The now-viral moment occurred around the same time PK and Dorit announced their split via an Instagram statement in May 2024.
"We as a couple have been subject to a lot of speculation about our marriage. We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together,” Dorit and PK's since-deleted Instagram post read. "To safeguard our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children we have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children..."
Where Dorit Kemsley and PK stand after RHOBH Season 14
Things were tense between Dorit and PK when they discussed their separation on the RHOBH Season 14 premiere, which was filmed shortly after they made their breakup announcement. On WWHL, Dorit confirmed that their relationship has improved since then.
"We are friendly and communicating and things are status quo," she said about her current status with the Englishman today.
However, while it's been more than six months since the former couple confirmed their split, they are not considering divorce at this time.
Dorit confirmed this on WWHL when she was asked if a divorce was "in process," and she replied, "No."
"No, nor is it even a topic of conversation," Dorit added.
