Heather Altman’s 4-year-old Son, Ace, Gets Honest About Her Style: “Not Good"
The MDLLA agent broke down her go-to "elevated mom look" and shared her favorite pieces from her wardrobe.
When Heather Altman needs an honest opinion, she can always count on her 4-year-old son.
The Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles agent proved this during an exclusive styling video for BravoTV.com. Heather took fans inside her everyday wardrobe and shared a few tips to achieve her go-to “elevated mom look.” But before she dove into her pieces, Heather’s youngest child, Ace, ran into her room with a big ol’ smile and the cutest ensemble.
"I love your outfit! Come here!” Heather told her boy, who was rocking a teddy bear graphic tee and cargo pants. “You are so good at styling yourself, and that’s what we’re doing today!”
She continued: “We are going to show you a few of my go-to style choices. So Ace is always very honest with me and he lets me know if I look cute or if I smell, if I need to brush my teeth. Huh, bud?”

Heather Altman's son, Ace, has thoughts on her scrunch socks
Heather, who also shares a 7-year-old daughter, Lexi, with her husband, Josh Altman — began with a sleek yet comfortable look that included black leggings, a matching long-sleeve top, luxury trainers, and a pair of white socks.
“I got my sneakers on; it’s elevated because they’re Chanel,” Heather explained. “I got my comfy scrunch socks. Josh hates the scrunch-sock look but I love it. You can always elevate your look with a faux-leather trench.”
After Heather threw on the outerwear piece, she turned to Ace for his opinion.
“Do you want to tell me what you think of this?” she asked.
“I think… Not good,” the little boy responded.
“This is not good?!?” Heather asked with a laugh. “What don’t you like about it?”
“The socks. They’re too long,” he said, proving he gets his fashion sense from his real estate mogul dad.
Once Heather removed the socks, Ace gave the ensemble his stamp of approval.
Heather Altman doles out fashion tips for her fellow moms
The MDLLA mom then highlighted the outfit’s versatility with a few footwear changes.
“You could do a combat boot with it. How cute is that?” she said. “I can go to gym class in sneakers; I could then go to lunch with clients or show houses (in boots); and then if I just wanted to come home really fast and put on high heels with this outfit… Look, this is so fab and so chic and so easy.”
Heather said she was a big fan of monochromatic outfits and neutral colors, including blacks, tans, and off-whites. She then pulled out a cropped brown puffer jacket from Alo, which she described as a mommy must-have.
“This is for all the moms out there,” she said while showing off the piece. “You want to be comfortable. You need to be in something that’s easy to grab the kids and throw stuff on. If you get a little juice box on you or something, you can wipe it off and not feel bad.”
Heather Altman sums up her personal style
Heather also shared her affinity for corseted tops and Zara jeans, and showcased some of her favorite mini dresses for date night.
“Everyone’s got their own style,” she said at the end of the segment. “I like to be a little bit more basic but elevated. I don’t know if that makes sense but thanks for watching.”
