Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi Confirms She'll Be Induced Early Because of RA
The Shahs of Sunset mom-to-be offered an update on her pregnancy.
Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi's journey to motherhood has not been easy — and it's been even more of a struggle due to her chronic battle with rheumatoid arthritis, which "came back 10 times worse than ever" after she experienced an ectopic pregnancy and suffered complications, including the removal of her fallopian tubes last year, before finally becoming successfully pregnant, as she previously confirmed.
While on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Monday (February 24), the Shahs of Sunset mom-to-be opened up more about how she's managing it all.
"I don't really see it as carrying a child on my own. I have a great family and great friends. So I have a great support system. But, I mean, the biggest struggle I've had in general has just been having rheumatoid arthritis and dealing with a pregnancy at the same time," she said.
You can hear more about GG's journey in the clip above first shared with Bravo Insider members.
At BravoCon last November she confirmed she's due this May after becoming pregnant last summer via IVF and the use of a sperm donor.
This week on WWHL, she noted she'll have to be induced into labor when the time comes. "I'm on a certain class of medication. I do IV infusions right now because my RA went into full blast because I got the ectopic and it ruptured and they had to remove my fallopian tubes in the middle of the pregnancy," she said. "So now they have to induce me a couple weeks early so that they can put me back on the hard drugs."
