Inside Andy Cohen’s Summer with Ben and Lucy, Including His Adorable Nickname (PHOTOS)
The WWHL host joked that his daughter, Lucy Cohen, is already "running the show."
Andy Cohen may be a multi-hyphenate in the media landscape as a radio and TV host, executive producer, and published author, but he's not an expert in everything.
The solo dad of Ben and Lucy Cohen is enjoying the last few weeks of the summer in the Hamptons, but he just got a bit of a shady nickname from his son.
"Ben gave me a new nickname this morning," Andy began in an Instagram Story video on August 21. "What is it?"
"Burn monster," Ben responded, though he did say that the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host has actually had the nickname for "a million of weeks." When asked where the nickname came from, Ben noted that his dad "always burn[s] the bacon."
"I always burn the bacon?" Andy asked the five-year-old. "Well, I always do my best, though. Right?"
Ben didn't respond to his dad's question, so it looks like the Burn Monster nickname will be sticking.
Andy Cohen spends quality time with Lucy Cohen in the Hamptons
As The Daddy Diaries author gets some much-needed fun in the sun with his kids Out East, he's sharing a look at some of the daddy-daughter moments he's having with his youngest child, Lucy.
To celebrate the beginning of the Paris Olympics, Andy took to Instagram to share a photo of him cuddled up on the couch with his two-year-old daughter to watch the Games.
"Didn’t realize how fun watching the Olympics with the kids would be! Excited for the next few weeks..." he wrote.
Fast-forward just a few weeks and Andy posted another photo of him sitting on the stairs with his daughter.
"She is running the show over here!" he captioned the photo, which you can check out below.
As Andy, Lucy, and Ben unwind in the Hamptons, they're getting ready to make a major change. Andy is selling his West Village apartment (and he's getting some help from Million Dollar Listing New York alum Ryan Serhant).
Andy confirmed that he would be putting the apartment on the market back in December 2023. He has yet to share where exactly he (and his two kids!) will be going.
In the meantime, the Cohens are finishing out their summer in style on Long Island.
