Gizelle Bryant Just Shared Some Big News About Her Daughter Grace: "WATCH OUT!"
The Real Housewives of Potomac mom just revealed the major accomplishment her daughter achieved.
The Real Housewives of Potomac's Gizelle Bryant just shared some big news about her daughter, Grace. The teen is officially driving — and her mom has feelings about it.
The Bravo's Chat Room co-host shared the update on Instagram this week: "DMV streets WATCH OUT! Grace has her Driver’s Permit #MommyDrivingSchool." In a video posted to Instagram, she added about the 16-year-old's big milestone, "I'm dancing and I'm laughing 'cause my girl, she can now drive. She got her little permit."
Back in November when Grace turned 16, Gizelle shared a sweet photo that also featured her twin daughters, Angel and Adore, and their dad, Jamal. "I have been so overwhelmed with this day. My little girl is all grown up. I thank God for my family, I would be a mess without them #FamilyOverEverything," Gizelle wrote at the time.
She also shared this emotional tribute to her eldest daughter: "Grace has brought more joy to my life than I ever thought possible. My heart explodes with LOVE every time I look at her."
Of course, Gizelle also always finds reasons to celebrate all three of her daughters: "My three girls are my true inspirations."
In an interview last year amid the protests taking place across the country calling for racial equality, Gizelle opened up about her role raising three young Black women in America. Her daughters participated in protests at the time, following in the footsteps of their parents and grandfather, civil rights activist Curtis Graves.
“I’ve raised these girls to be strong and be smart. And to understand that — and I think every Black mother has said this to their child — in order for you to succeed in this country, unfortunately, you have to be twice as good. You have to be twice as fast, you have to be twice as smart as the white person standing next to you. Or you cannot advance. Hopefully one day that won’t be the case. But right now, my kids know that they have to be better, smarter, stronger in order for them to make it in this country.”
