Gia Giudice Shares a Major Update on Joe Giudice’s Dating Life: “She’s Awesome”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter shared her candid thoughts on her dad's new girlfriend and also spilled some tea on his career.
Gia Giudice is proud of her father, Joe Giudice. Though The Real Housewives of New Jersey dad currently lives in the Bahamas after his 2019 deportation from the United States, he keeps in close contact with his four girls — and he's even introduced them to his special someone.
In a recent interview with PEOPLE magazine, Gia shared a juicy update on Joe's love life. "He's been with this girl for a pretty long time," she said, of her dad's current flame. "They seem really happy and she's awesome. I really like her a lot. So yeah, I would love to start meeting her family and seeing what happens... I'm sure at one point my mom [Teresa Giudice] and [Luis "Louie" Ruelas'] will meet my dad's girlfriend and we'll have a huge blended family."

It looks like that will happen sooner rather than later: At BravoCon 2023, which took place in Las Vegas from November 3 to 5, Teresa shared that she and Louie are headed to the Bahamas with her four daughters in late December. Tre weighed in on Joe's love life, too, sharing: "I'm gonna meet [Joe's] girlfriend, he's had a few. So I'm happy for him."
Teresa went on to share her hopes for Joe's future. "I wish one day he could come back to the United States because it wasn't fair what happened to him," she said. "It was paperwork and I don't think he should have gotten deported."
Teresa's brother, Joe Gorga, also shared an update on his relationship with Teresa's ex at BravoCon 2023. In the clip above, he describes the "beautiful moment" that took place between his ex-brother-in-law and him when they ran into each other in the Bahamas.
Gia Giudice shares an update on Joe Giudice's career
In her PEOPLE interview, Gia discussed her dad's current career. The aspiring lawyer explained that Joe works for a construction company, where he oversees a crew.
"He makes sure all the workers are doing what they're supposed to be doing, corrects them if they're doing something wrong. So he's basically back in doing what he loves to be doing and what he's so good at," Gia shared.
"He also has a chartering company that he does on the side," she added. "I'm so happy that he was able to find his niche again because it's definitely not easy. And just being deported somewhere and having to start from scratch, it's definitely not easy on anybody. But he's really grown so much and he's really happy. So I think that's the most a daughter could ask of her dad. As long as he's happy, I'm happy."
