The First Photos of Eva Marcille's Baby Boy Maverick Will Have You Ready for Fall
Of course The Real Housewives of Atlanta model's son is picture perfect.
Eva Marcille is officially welcoming son Maverick to the world.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta model shared the first photos of her baby boy, who was born on September 27, in a new interview with Us Weekly. Maverick looks so precious posing on a giant white flower in one photo. And in another, he's definitely ready for fall, looking cozy in a sweater onesie while napping on a knit blanket next to some colorful autumn accessories.
Eva told Us Weekly that Maverick arrived sooner than expected. “Just like his name implies, Maverick did things his way. He came a few weeks early,” she revealed. “I started getting contractions three days before he decided to actually arrive, so we checked into the hospital just to be prepared. All I ever ask for is a healthy baby and God answered my prayers, so everything went smooth.”
Eva and her husband Michael Todd Sterling are also parents to 17-month-old son Michael Todd Sterling Jr. and 5-year-old Marley Rae, who is from a previous relationship of Eva's. And Mikey and Marley are "obsessed" with their new baby brother, according to their mom: “They can’t get enough of him. Marley is the best big sister and she loves being the oldest,” Eva said. “She’s helping me with both of her brothers, keeping Mikey busy when I have to feed Maverick and is just the sweetest girl I could ask for.”
It looks like Maverick is already taking after one of his parents in a major way. “Even though he’s only a few days old, I can tell he’s definitely going to beat to his own drum and do things his way, on his time,” Eva said. “He might get that from his mama. Being a mother is so incredible and now that I have three, it’s so amazing to see how unique and different they each are, even from those first few moments. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.”
Maverick's middle name Leonard also has a special meaning, inspired by Michael's grandfather, he shared on Instagram.
Cynthia Bailey is thrilled to be Auntie Cynt to Maverick. "I have no words!" she gushed on Instagram after meeting Eva's little one.
