Emily Simpson Opens up About Why She's Qualified to At-Home Teach Her Kids
The RHOC mom and lawyer is still feeling exhausted by the prospect of teaching her twins.
School is back in session for Emily Simpson and so many parents across the country. The Real Housewives of Orange County mom is home with her kids and going back to her roots as a teacher while remote schooling her twin sons, Luke and Keller, while her daughter, Annabelle, will be attending second grade in person at a "private 'learning lab' school."
"I thought for sure my teaching days were over in 2002 when I pulled away from the last high school I taught at as a Spanish Teacher and was excited about a new journey ....Law School," she wrote in Instagram. "18 years later and I’m sitting at my dining room table trying to teach kindergarten to two 5 year old boys for free. Well played universe."
Emily also shared some more highlights from that first day of remote learning to her Instagram Stories. Let's just say, she was feeling a bit tired when the day wrapped up.
She wrote about her sons starting school for the first time virtually, "I'm sad my boys aren't starting kindergarten today in school with a teacher and other children... so we will do our best to learn at home."
One perk to homeschool, though, is wearing PJs all day!
