Are Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke Still Planning a Move to New Jersey? She Says... (EXCLUSIVE)
Summer House's Amanda Batula opens up about her current living situation with Kyle Cooke and their plans for the future.
On Season 8 of Summer House, Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke discussed the prospect of moving out of New York City to the suburbs of New Jersey. More recently, Amanda spoke with The Daily Dish about her and Kyle's current living situation, and if they are indeed leaving the Big Apple for the suburbs.
"We’re still in our same apartment. We haven’t left," said Amanda, who is currently hard at work on her forthcoming swimsuit line, Amanda Batula Swim, with South Moon Under.
Amanda added that she and Kyle are considering "finding a new apartment in the city" that they could "grow into with a family."
"Right now that’s sort of what we’re focused on," she explained. "But there is no pressure. According to Kyle, he has been looking. So when the right place comes up, we’ll snatch it. Otherwise we’ll have to wait for when the pressure’s on and we [have] to move out. But right now we’re in our same spot... We’ll probably continue living in the city for a bit longer."

Although she and Kyle are staying in NYC for the time being, Amanda noted she hasn't let go of her dream of moving to the Garden State.
"I will get that house in New Jersey, though, don’t worry," she said. "Just later. At some point, jut not yet. I’ll be there, don’t worry."
Kyle Cooke reveals when he wants to move to New Jersey
Back in May, Kyle appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen to share his thought process behind a possible relocation.
"Once we start a family, we're going," he shared with the show's host, Andy Cohen.
Amanda echoed those sentiments in an interview with The Daily Dish in March, stating, "We probably won't seriously look for a house, or have like a super serious conversation about where we're gonna live until I'm pregnant. Kyle works amazingly under pressure. So, there's gonna have to be some reason."
The swimwear entrepreneur clarified that even if Kyle is still reluctant, she will be heading to the 'burbs with or without him. "Oh, we're moving to New Jersey," she said. "Like, 100 percent. I'm moving by myself and we'll have a long-distance relationship if he's against it."
In an April episode of the Summer House After Show, Kyle revealed why he was hesitant to move to the suburbs.
"I would also feel completely cut off from society — Amanda's OK with that, I'm not — but the thing that scares me the most is if we prematurely jump out to the 'burbs, I just feel like I'm gonna be trapped," he said in the video above. "Amanda's very content sitting on the couch, watching TV. She's not good at keeping up with her friends and making efforts to be social with them. If I work a lot, I need a social outlet. And I would feel completely cut off from society."
