Danni Baird Officially Introduces Her Baby Boy, Yates: "Hello World!"
The Southern Charm alum hinted at the precious arrival in late March, about three months after she gave birth.
It’s official, official: Danni Baird has welcomed her baby boy, Yates.
The Southern Charm alum formally introduced the infant on Friday, April 26, roughly six months after announcing her pregnancy. Danni confirmed the arrival in a sweet Instagram post documenting Yates’ first several months in Charleston. That’s right, according to Danni’s post, she gave birth to her first child sometime in December, unbeknownst to Southern Charm fans.
“‘Hello World! My big media debut has been lonnnnng overdue!’ -Yates,” Danni captioned the carousel. “I’m dumbstruck that our little man, Yates, turned 4 months old this week!! He has brought us more joy and love than we could EVER have imagined. He’s absolutely perfect.”

Danni Baird shares a look at her baby boy's first months
The Instagram included snaps of baby Yates nestled up at home and on a few stroller rides with his dad, Nicholas Volz. Of course, the post was immediately flooded with gushing comments from fans and friends, including Southern Charm alum Cameran Eubanks Wimberly.
“Danni he is a DOLL!!!” Cameran commented. “I know you are the best mama in the world!”
Danni Baird announces first pregnancy with Nicholas Volz
Danni confirmed her pregnancy back in October when she shared a heartfelt birthday tribute for her partner, Nicholas. The post included a photo of Danni’s blossoming baby bump and a snap of her and Nicholas smiling ear-to-ear while holding an ultrasound image.
“Wishing the happiest of birthdays to this handsome Daddy-to-be,” she wrote in the October 26 post. “I can’t imagine sharing this incredible journey with anyone other than you. I love you and have a suspicion that 39 just may be your best year yet xo.”
Southern Charm’s Madison LeCroy and Southern Charm alum Chelsea Meissner were among those who congratulated Danni on her new chapter: “You’re going to be the best mom!” the former wrote along with a red heart emoji. “So happy for you!”
Chelsea, who welcomed her first child in 2023, echoed Madison: “Awe congrats Danni! Amazing news!” she commented. “You’re in for a real treat!”

Fast-forward to Easter Sunday 2024, when Danni dropped a huge hint about her baby’s arrival. She reposted a relative’s Instagram Story that showed three small children sitting side-by-side on a couch. The new mom didn’t provide details about the picture, which included a few bunny emojis and a “cousins” gif; however, fans immediately suspected the baby on the left was Danni’s newborn, as he was tagged with Danni’s Instagram handle.
As indicated by Danni's latest post, Yates was about 12 weeks old at the time of the photo.
