Al Manzo Just Did the Sweetest Thing for Lauren Manzo Scalia's Daughter Markie
Caroline Manzo shared an adorable glimpse at the grandfather's kind gesture.
It looks like Lauren Manzo Scalia’s daughter, Marchesa “Markie” Scalia, has lots of fun play time ahead of her. The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum and Manzo’d with Children matriarch Caroline Manzo, recently revealed the adorable thing her husband, Al, did for their three-year-old granddaughter, and it will totally melt your heart.
In a May 6 Instagram post, Caroline shared a photo of Al working to put together what appears to be a big pink princess castle for Markie to play with. “PopPop working hard for his girl,” Caroline captioned the post.
From the looks of the photo, Markie won’t run out of toys to play with in their home anytime soon. In the background, you can see that she also has a grocery store cash register and an art easel to doodle on.
Caroline and Al are obviously very proud grandparents. At BravoCon, Caroline chatted with The Daily Dish to open up about life with Markie.
“For me, my Marchesa, I want to put her in a bubble and carry her around and not have her shed a tear for her entire life. I want everything to be sunshine and Candyland for her,” said Caroline.
She also spoke about Al’s special relationship with Markie, noting that he would do absolutely anything for the sweet little tot.
“He’s the biggest teddy bear.” Caroline revealed. “She takes his glasses off him, she calls him papa, and he’s like, ‘What do you want? You want me to get the moon out of the sky? I’ll get it for you.’”
