Captain Glenn Shephard Shares an Update on His Relationship with His Girlfriend
The Below Deck Sailing Yacht boss gave his followers a peek at what he and GF Dani have been up to lately.
Relationships can get tricky — and triangulated — aboard Parsifal III. However, Captain Glenn Shephard has charted a pretty smooth course in his own relationship.
The Below Deck Sailing Yacht boss has been with his girlfriend, Danelis “Dani” Jimenez, for about four and a half years now. And in a recent Instagram snap, the yachting pro shared an update on what he and his love have been up to lately.
Glenn and Dani celebrate Canada Day
In a July 1 Instagram post, Glenn shared a photo of himself and Dani smiling wide for a selfie. The pair appeared to be sitting on a restaurant patio on a bright, sunny day — which also happened to be Canada Day.
In his caption, the Montreal native wrote, “Happy Canada Day! Last sundowners before having to go back to work.” Dani also works in the industry: The Dominican Republic native is a sailing pro just like Glenn.
Canada Day wasn’t the only idyllic moment the twosome have shared recently — and their latest round of sundowners didn’t mark their first. On June 9, Glenn shared a photo of himself and Dani hanging out on a cabana-flecked pool deck in Mallorca. “A couple of nights ago having sundowners down at our ‘local pub,’” he captioned the post.
And earlier in June, the jet-setting couple touched down in Greece, where Glenn shared another sweet selfie of the two. “Coming to the end of our spring cruising, gotta pull Avalon out of the water and go back to work for a couple of months,” he wrote. But not before stopping to take in the scenery!
Glenn and Dani travel the world
Greece and Spain are just the tip of the iceberg for Dani and Glenn when it comes to their travels. In fact, during a recent interview with The Daily Dish, Glenn revealed he had just come back from the airport.
“I just dropped [Dani] at the airport in Madrid. We’ve beenæ traveling around southern Spain for the last week or so, 10 days maybe,” he shared. “We live in Palma de Mallorca, which is almost like a bus ride from Madrid… We’re planning to head up to Andorra, which is in the mountain range between Northern Spain and France, and hopefully get a little bit of snowboarding in before the snow disappears for this winter.”
“Right after that, we’re going back to the boat in Greece, and we’ll probably cruise around for a few weeks, and then I’ll have to go back to work for the summer on Parsifal somewhere in the Mediterranean doing charters,” he continued.
He added: “I’ve got a little boat. Actually, I had it in Sardinia, and my girlfriend and I cruised around Sardinia a little bit and then we went to the islands near Rome — Ponza, Ventotene, places like that. And then the Amalfi Coast, Capri, Ischia, and finally down to the Aeolian Islands, Panarea, Vulcano, Stromboli, and then through to Corfu.”
