Candiace's New Music Video Has It ALL, Including a Hot Love Interest and RHOP Cast Cameos
RHOP cast member Candiace Dillard Bassett is sharing everything about the making of her "Drive Back" video.
Get ready to hit repeat! Candiace Dillard Bassett's recently released the music video for her single "Drive Back" and the visual has everything a fan of The Real Housewives of Potomac could ask for: a hot love interest, a dramatic storyline, incredible fashions, awesome dance sequences, and cameos from members of the RHOP cast, including Robyn Dixon, Dr. Wendy Osefo, Gizelle Bryant, Karen Huger, and new cast member Mia Thornton.
"Can’t you tell I’m excited?! The video to my debut single 'DRIVE BACK' has arrived! It truly takes a trusted, loyal village to make this happen. I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR MY TEAM," Candiace shared on Instagram before giving shout-outs to her team who worked with her on the project, like her dancers, stylists, and more, as well as "my [husband Chris Bassett] who keeps me sane and loves me [too] and through it all!"
Candiace also mentioned her key co-stars in the video (and we don't just mean the RHOP ladies). She thanked "the best on-camera waitress eva [Aja Felice]," Candiace wrote. She also thanked "the best on-screen boo thang I could ask for [Rob Gordon] (even if we fussin at the beginning of the video)."
But of course she didn't miss the chance to thank the RHOP ladies, including Season 6 friend of Askale Davis. "Did y’all see my girls make a cameo?? Thank you for coming to kiki," Candiace wrote. "Potomac 4 life."
As you can imagine, Candiace was definitely in her feelings for the video's debut. "I am full and overwhelmed and excited and over the moon and blown away and WE AREN'T EVEN DONE YET. This is JUST the beginning. We have a whole ALBUM to deliver…and MUCH MUCH more. I’m just GRATEFUL," she wrote. "Thank you for streaming 'DRIVE BACK' and for showing me so much love and support. I SEE YOU."
