The Real Housewives of New York City cast member can't forget an escalator ride that will go down in Bravo history.
Some folks break the internet— Brynn Whitfield breaks the escalator. In an instantly iconic moment from BravoCon 2023, The Real Housewives of New York City cast member shut down a Las Vegas escalator when her Louboutin stilettos became wedged in it. (Watch the clip above to relive the big moment.)
Now, a few months later, Brynn is still affected by the fashion mishap. And in a recent Instagram share, she revealed how the incident haunts—and dizzies—her to this day.
Brynn Whitfield looks back on her BravoCon 2023 shoe mishap
In a recent Instagram Story, the RHONY beauty shared a close-up photo of an escalator. "[To be honest], these sorta make me dizzy now," she wrote, adding a laughing emoji.
In the immediate aftermath of the BravoCon incident, people couldn't get enough of the shoe situation. "It's like the Wicked Witch of the West," noted Daryn Carp, who was at the scene of the escalator incident to moderate the "It's Ladies Night" panel with Brynn and other Bravolebrity guests.
A close-up of the shoes showed they were stuck in the escalator, with the heels pointed down below the machinery's final step. "This is everything. Is this your first time on an escalator?!" Daryn asked.
"I knew they were going to get stuck. I could feel it," Brynn replied. "It looks like the Wizard of Oz. Do I have to pay for the escalator?" However, she was undaunted. "I have a cute pedicure so I don't care," Brynn quipped "You have to be prepared."
Andy Cohen later made a special appearance at the panel discussion. "That is iconic," he said upon seeing the stuck Louboutins. "Is there a dead person under it? That is the photo of BravoCon." And indeed, the moment lives on.
What is Brynn Whitfield's job?
Even though Brynn can sail through a funny shoe snafu with grace, when it comes to her job, the RHONY cast member is all business.
The public relations buff took to Instagram this past fall to explain her work, saying she’s had a career that is “more decorated than most” and a resume that’s five pages long.
“When you’re at the point I am in my career, you get to do this amazing thing called consulting. Which is what I do now for two skincare brands,” she wrote in an Instagram Story, according to Reality Blurb.
She added that much of her work life hasn’t been shared on RHONY, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. She further expanded on her career highlights, listing some of her bigger clients as Shell Oil, Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, and Assembly.
