The Real Housewives of New York City’s Brynn Whitfield is more than just a pretty face. The hilarious New York socialite has both beauty and brains—and the college pedigree to prove it.
Where did Brynn Whitfield go to college?
Brynn holds a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in communications, public relations, and advertising, according to her LinkedIn profile, and has spent time in The George Washington University’s graduate school studying political management.
Before finding her way into public relations, the accomplished Housewife even considered being a doctor and began her college career in pre-med.
“My entire life I grew up, I wanted to be a doctor,” she shared on RHONY. “I was pre-med until second semester of my junior year.”

Her medical dreams would come to an end, however, after she failed organic chemistry and had a “breakdown” in college before finding her calling in public relations, where she has moved up the corporate ladder and ran successful campaigns for global brands.
“I get paid really well to do like 10 hours of work per week,” she added. “I honed in on the exact thing that I’m really, really good at and I’m seen as an expert. My clients that I’ve worked for in the past, now they come to me as a consultant.”
What is Brynn Whitfield's job?
While Brynn’s fun and flirty side is fully on display in RHONY, when it comes to her career, the Indiana native is all business.
Brynn recently took to Instagram to explain her work, saying she’s had a career that is “more decorated than most” and a resume that’s five pages long.
“When you’re at the point I am in my career, you get to do this amazing thing called consulting. Which is what I do now for two skincare brands,” she wrote in an Instagram Story, according to Reality Blurb.
She added that to date, much of her work life hasn’t been shared on RHONY, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. She further expanded on her career highlights, listing some of her bigger clients as Shell Oil, Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, and Assembly.
While Brynn has enviable fashion and a glamorous life, she has made it clear she had to put in the work to get where she is today.
Brynn — who has been very open about her rough past during conversations with the other women on RHONY— said everything she has today is a result of working “super hard.”
“It’s not rocket science you guys: Work in corporate America + No KIDS + no HUSBAND= money for yourself,” she wrote.
