Brock Davies Is Making "Aesthetically Pleasing" Updates to His Garage at Home

Brock Davies and Scheana Shay continue to make their new house in the Valley the perfect fit for themselves and their daughter Summer, with various special projects. 

Brock, who nicknamed himself "Brock the Builder," recently revealed more details about his garage renovation, including installing wood panels and organizing the place to become a home gym and workspace. 

"Today I finished the wood paneling in the garage and played the electrician with the lights," the Vanderpump Rules dad captioned a September 21 Instagram time-lapse Instagram video which revealed what exactly Brock did to continue his garage renovation project.

In the video, Brock (sporting a brand new platinum blonde 'do) showed how he cut various planks of black wood panels with ridges to glue to the sides and ceilings of his garage's walls for a sleek look. 

Brock placed the panels, from The Wood Veneer Hub, all around the garage's large flat-screen TV and on the tops of the walls. "I want to make sure I dampen that sound while having more of an aesthetically pleasing wall inside the garage," Brock explained in a voiceover in the video. 

After setting the panels, Brock went back over the "gaps" with putty and black paint to make everything streamlined. 

Brock also removed the old lights on the ceiling of the garage and installed "new LED lights" to brighten up the space. 

"If I could take one takeaway from this little project, it is [that] I need to get myself a tablesaw. They take a lot of space but they will give you nice straight cuts," Brock noted at the end of his caption, adding, "Thanks for the support, fam; all that’s left in this gym is to pick up the gym equipment."

In addition to the interior of the garage, Brock previously revealed the results of another DIY project: the driveway. 

"It was a super long and tiring day. But you know what? I couldn't be happier with how it turned out!" Brock captioned a June 6 Instagram video, sharing a before-and-after look at the overall transformation the next day. 

For the project, the New Zealand native shared how he removed the brick from the home's old driveway and then prepped the area with "road base" between the new concrete pavers. He later installed astroturf for a sleek, modern vibe.
