Bethenny Frankel Explains Why She Doesn't Have a Nanny For Her Daughter
The #RHONY mom takes parenting very seriously.
Bethenny Frankel may be a busy single mom running her businesses and trying to navigate the drama of her Big Apple peer group, but that doesn't mean The Real Housewives of New York City mom relies on anyone to help her with her 7-year-old daughter, Bryn.
"I’m proud that I don’t have a nanny and that when I am with my daughter, I’m 100 percent with her," she recently told PEOPLE. “So when I work, I work. And when I’m with my child, I’m with my child. I spend a lot of intense time alone with my kid.”
The Skinnygirl mogul then went on to point out that her dedication to being a parent (and a “a fairly strict parent," according to her) stems from the fact that she truly loves it. “I know there’s no perfect parent, and I’m very involved and very present. I love it. If you love something, you’ll be good at it," she said. “So I love being a mother more than anything in the world, and I think what you put into your kids, you get out. And I’m seeing that that really is true."
Bethenny recently opened up more to The Daily Dish about her little girl -- which you can see in the video, above.
And you can catch Bethenny on RHONY every Wednesday at 9/8c. Preview, below.
